Overview

Thymosin Alpha-1 (Tα1) is a 28-amino acid peptide naturally produced by the thymus gland. It is FDA-approved in over 35 countries for hepatitis B/C and as an immune adjuvant. It enhances both innate and adaptive immunity.

Mechanism of Action

Activates dendritic cells and T-cell maturation → enhances TLR signaling → modulates Th1/Th2 balance → increases NK cell activity → promotes MHC class I expression → stimulates IL-2 and IFN-α production.
