Overview
TB-500 is a synthetic version of the naturally occurring peptide Thymosin Beta-4 (Tβ4). It plays a crucial role in tissue repair by regulating actin, a key protein in cell structure and movement, and promoting new blood vessel formation.
Mechanism of Action
Sequesters G-actin → promotes cell migration and differentiation → upregulates angiogenesis → reduces inflammation → promotes hair follicle stem cell migration → crosses blood-brain barrier.
