SLU-PP-332
Exercise mimetic compound for metabolic benefits
Overview
SLU-PP-332 is an ERRα agonist (estrogen-related receptor alpha) that mimics the molecular effects of exercise. It activates the same pathways triggered by physical activity, including fat oxidation and mitochondrial biogenesis.
Mechanism of Action
Activates ERRα transcription factor → upregulates exercise-responsive genes → enhances mitochondrial biogenesis → increases fatty acid oxidation → shifts muscle fiber type toward fatigue-resistant phenotype.
Benefits
- Exercise mimetic without exercise
- Enhanced fat oxidation
- Improved endurance capacity
- Mitochondrial biogenesis
- Muscle fiber type transformation
Dosing Protocol
Half-Life
~6–8 hours (estimated)
Duration of pharmacological activity after administration.
Side Effects
- Limited human data
- Potential hormonal interactions
- Under investigation
Stacking Recommendations
Storage & Reconstitution
Store at room temperature. Protect from light and moisture.
Research Notes
Published in 2023 by Washington University researchers. Showed dramatic improvements in endurance and fat loss in animal models. No human clinical trials yet. Promising exercise mimetic target.
