Hexarelin

GH secretagogue with cardiac benefits

Subcutaneous Injection
Strongest GH release among GHRPs Cardioprotective properties Improved cardiac function Enhanced recovery Neuroprotective effects

Overview

Hexarelin is a synthetic hexapeptide GH secretagogue known for producing the strongest acute GH release among GHRPs. It also has notable cardioprotective properties independent of its GH-releasing effects.

Mechanism of Action

Activates GHS-R1a receptors → maximum GH pulse release → cardiac protective via CD36 receptor binding → anti-fibrotic cardiac effects independent of GH pathway.

Benefits

  • Strongest GH release among GHRPs
  • Cardioprotective properties
  • Improved cardiac function
  • Enhanced recovery
  • Neuroprotective effects

Dosing Protocol

Typical Dose100–200 mcg/dose
Frequency2–3x daily (SubQ)
Cycle Length8–12 weeks (desensitization occurs)

Half-Life

~70 minutes

Duration of pharmacological activity after administration.

Side Effects

  • Elevated cortisol
  • Prolactin increase
  • Water retention
  • Desensitization over time
  • Appetite increase

Stacking Recommendations

CJC-1295Sermorelin

Storage & Reconstitution

Lyophilized: -20°C. Reconstituted: 2–8°C, use within 21 days.

Research Notes

Unique among GHRPs for documented cardioprotective effects. Desensitization limits long-term use. Studies show protection against cardiac ischemia and fibrosis.
