FGL

NCAM-derived peptide for memory and neuroprotection

Subcutaneous Injection
Memory enhancement Neuroprotection Synaptic plasticity improvement Anti-neuroinflammatory Cognitive recovery

Overview

FGL (FG Loop) is a synthetic peptide derived from the neural cell adhesion molecule (NCAM). It mimics the interaction between NCAM and the FGF receptor, promoting neuroprotection and cognitive enhancement through neurotrophic signaling.

Mechanism of Action

Activates FGFR signaling pathway → promotes neuronal survival → enhances long-term potentiation → increases synaptic plasticity → modulates MAPK and PI3K pathways → anti-inflammatory in CNS.

Benefits

  • Memory enhancement
  • Neuroprotection
  • Synaptic plasticity improvement
  • Anti-neuroinflammatory
  • Cognitive recovery

Dosing Protocol

Typical Dose1–5 mg/dose
Frequency2–3x per week (SubQ)

Half-Life

~6–8 hours

Duration of pharmacological activity after administration.

Side Effects

  • Injection site reactions
  • Headache (rare)
  • Limited human safety data
