CJC-1295
GHRH analog for anti-aging and GH optimization
Overview
CJC-1295 is a synthetic analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) that stimulates GH secretion. Available with or without DAC (Drug Affinity Complex), which extends its half-life significantly.
Mechanism of Action
Binds GHRH receptors on pituitary somatotrophs → stimulates GH release in a pulsatile manner → increases IGF-1 levels → DAC version binds albumin for extended duration.
Benefits
- Increased GH and IGF-1 levels
- Improved body composition
- Enhanced recovery
- Better sleep quality
- Anti-aging effects
Dosing Protocol
Half-Life
~30 min (no DAC) / ~8 days (with DAC)
Duration of pharmacological activity after administration.
Side Effects
- Water retention
- Tingling/numbness
- Flushing
- Headache
- Injection site reactions
Stacking Recommendations
Storage & Reconstitution
Lyophilized: -20°C. Reconstituted: 2–8°C, use within 21 days.
Research Notes
Well-studied GHRH analog. CJC-1295/DAC showed sustained GH elevation for 6–8 days per injection. Widely used in anti-aging and sports medicine research.
